Little Crooked Creek is the main water feature on the property and serves as the geographic border along the west and north boundaries. It flows year-round and has sandy bottoms with small pebbles. Its generally 4-8-foot-wide and has 2-3-foot-high banks. Little Crooked Creek flows south to northeast along the bottomland, then wraps around the thick cover on the north border. Having this creek cutting thru the cover provides a secluded water source for all the wildlife. This a unique feature not found on many properties and one that hunters will appreciate!

There is an old house on the property that is in total disrepair and not salvageable. It does add to the long history of this family farm and reminds us that all land has historical significance. There’s even an old hand dug well that has a heavy concrete cover. Although this feature is cool, I usually recommend that the new owner fill these in for safety and liability purposes.
